About Level Worthanden
Considered analysis, built for the retirement years
Level Worthanden was founded on a simple observation: retirees deserve portfolio guidance that respects both their capital and their time. Here's how we think about that responsibility.
Our Starting Point
Retirement changes what "good advice" means
Most portfolio tools are built for accumulation — for people with decades ahead of them and a high tolerance for volatility. Retirees and pre-retirees face a different set of questions: how to draw an income sustainably, how to manage sequencing risk, and how to avoid decisions driven by short-term noise.
Level Worthanden was built around that distinction. We combine AI-assisted analysis with a framework designed specifically for capital preservation and steady, considered growth — not speed, not speculation.
Our History
Why we built Level Worthanden
Level Worthanden began as a response to a gap we kept seeing: pre-retirees and retirees were being offered either generic robo-advice built for growth-stage investors, or expensive, infrequent human reviews that couldn't keep pace with changing markets and personal circumstances.
We set out to build something in between — a tool that applies rigorous, ongoing analysis to a portfolio's risk, income potential, and resilience, while keeping the retiree firmly in control of every decision.
That founding idea still shapes every feature we build: clarity over complexity, restraint over reaction, and long-term thinking over short-term noise.
Our Mission
Helping retirees hold their ground with confidence
Our mission is to give people approaching or living in retirement a clear, ongoing view of how their portfolio is positioned — so that decisions about income, risk, and allocation are made calmly and with evidence, not urgency.
Preservation first
We treat capital preservation as the starting point of every analysis, not an afterthought layered on top of a growth-oriented model.
Transparency over persuasion
Our analysis is designed to inform, not to nudge you toward a particular product or provider. What you do with the insight is entirely your decision.
Steady, not speculative
We favour measured, well-reasoned assessments over reactive signals — because retirement portfolios are rarely served well by chasing short-term moves.
How We Work
The team and approach behind Level Worthanden
Level Worthanden is built by a small, focused team working at the intersection of portfolio analysis and practical retirement planning. Rather than a large call centre model, we've deliberately kept our approach lean — favouring depth of analysis over volume.
Portfolio specialists
Our analysis framework is developed and refined by people with backgrounds in portfolio construction and retirement income planning.
AI-assisted, human-guided
We use AI to process and surface patterns across a portfolio, while keeping the final interpretation grounded in practical, human judgement.
Client-facing team
When you have questions about a review or how to read a recommendation, our support team is there to talk it through in plain language.
Our Values
What guides the way we build Level Worthanden
Plain language, always
We avoid jargon and unnecessary complexity. A portfolio review should leave you with more understanding, not less.
No pressure, no urgency tactics
We don't believe good financial decisions are made under artificial time pressure. Our role is to inform, at your pace.
You remain the decision-maker
Level Worthanden provides analysis and structure — the choices about your money remain, entirely and always, yours.
